38 Weeks

How far along?  38 Weeks

Total weight gain:   184....which is none this week.

Maternity clothes:   Still rockin em.

Stretch marks:   They are most definitely there....no surprises this time like with Kipton.

Best Moment this week:   Kipton finally felt Kaden kick/move!  We were playing in bed one night like we always do and Kipton was finally patient enough to hold his hand on my tummy for more than 2 seconds.  His face was so cute and his eyes lit up.  :)

Miss anything?:   Oh you know, just being able to get off the couch with ease.

Movement:  While doing some yard work which required a lot of bending over, Kaden moved to the other side of my belly and was bothering my left rib.  Which is something that hasn't happened yet.  However it didn't last long, because a few hours later he was back to kicking my right rib again.  Starting to have a lot of pressure.

Food cravings:  Same ole.

Anything making you queasy or sick:   The thought of having a baby at the state tournament.

Have you started to show yet:   No, but I keep getting asked if I'm carrying a Pumpkin in my shirt. ?

Gender:   Active little boy.

Labor Signs:   No, but Kipton seems to think he is coming "tomorrow".  When we start talking about Kaden he responds with, "Kaden will be here tomorrow."

Belly button in or out:  Out when standing, in when laying down.

Wedding rings on or off:   Had to take them off and leave them off one day, but I think it has to do with the humidity outside.  My feet however have really started to swell easily.

Happy or moody most of the time:   Happy normally.

Looking forward to:   People not sarcastically asking me how much longer.

37 Weeks

How far along?  37 Weeks

Total weight gain:   44 lbs.

Maternity clothes:   Still squeezin into them.  Some pants are having a hard time getting over my butt....they must have shrunk right?

Stretch marks:  No new ones

Best Moment this week:  Took maternity pictures this week, which is a lot later than we did with Kipton.  However, I don't think I'm as big this time as I was with Kipton.  I'm measuring a few weeks behind, and with Kipton I was always measuring ahead.

Miss anything?:   Being able to bend over and pick up toys/clean up with ease

Movement:   Really starting to favor that right rib again.  Also, I can grab your foot sometimes, which is entertaining for me but probably annoying for you.

Food cravings:   Food.

Anything making you queasy or sick:   The thought of getting up at night to feed kinda makes me queasy...does that count?

Have you started to show yet:    Nah....

Gender:   Thankful God blessed us with another boy!

Labor Signs:   Just a lot of sharp pains when I move really quick.

Belly button in or out:  Out.

Wedding rings on or off:    They are starting to be consistently tight.

Happy or moody most of the time:    Anxious

Looking forward to: Spending the day at home with my boys.

Doctors Update:  Your measuring 36 weeks and 6/13 pounds right now.

3rd Birthday Party

Happy 3rd Birthday to the one and only Kipman!

This year we asked what you wanted to have on your birthday cake and you said Buzz and Woody, so that's what we went with!

We planned on having the party outside and a park, but weather did not cooperate.  So Poppy saved the day by letting us crash his hitting facility at Lee High School.  The Essner family also saved the day by bringing their awesome bouncy blow up slide.  So a little improvising never hurt anyone and the kids seemed to have a good time.   I know Kipton did!

The cake and cupcakes were made with love by Grammy and decorated by yours truly.

We had a Mr. and Mrs. Potatoe Head craft that I found on Pinterest.  The girls seemed to enjoy it more, but the boys had fun as well.  Just didn't put as much time into it.  :)

 Miss Mollie and her craft.

Kipton and Hudson's potato head.

Time for cake and candles!

He ate it up when everyone sang Happy Birthday to him.  :)

 Best buds enjoy some cake.

Happy Birthday Kipton!!

36 Weeks

How far along?    36 Weeks

Total weight gain:  41 lbs

Maternity clothes:   I've had to buy some more maternity clothes because it's getting colder.  With Kipton it was still very warm by October 3rd, but with this one it's already starting to get cool.

Stretch marks:   Unfortunately, they have reappeared and possibly a new one over the belly button.  Kinda hard to tell though.

Best Moment this week:  Maybe not a best moment but a couple funny ones.  I have questioned if Kipton understands whether or not a baby is actually growing inside mommy's tummy and if Kaden is actually going to come out and stay with us.  My wondering thoughts were answered after a couple of conversations these past few weeks.  They are as follows:

First Convo
Setting: Kipton and Matt playing with the pop up tent in the living room.
Kipton:  Daddy...is Kaden still in mommy's tummy?
Matt:  Yes Kipton he's still growing.
Kipton:  Well, maybe when he comes out mommy can fit in my tent again.

Second Convo
Setting:  Kipton and Uncle Matthew playing baseball outside and I walk up.
Matthew:  Kipton, who is that?
Kipton:  That's my mommy, but she can't play baseball.
Matthew:  Why not?
Kipton:  Because she's too big

Now even my son is calling me fat...

Miss anything?:   I attempted to shave my legs this week in the bathtub.   Picture a beach whale flopping around a tank trying to scratch its belly.  That should explain my efforts.

Movement:  All the time, but mainly when I sit down to eat and lay down at night.  It's pretty much understood that you will wake me up playing footsie during the middle of the night.  However, since you may have assumed the exit position, I don't have to pee as bad during the middle of the night.

Food cravings:  I just like food.   And so does Kaden.  Your very active whenever I'm eating.

Anything making you queasy or sick:   I get queasy when I sit in certain positions and that's not any fun at all.

Have you started to show yet:    People are starting to give me the "I feel sorry for you" look.

Gender:   All boy.

Labor Signs:    Just lower back pain and constant pelvic pain in my left groin area.  (Sorry for the details of those reading who don't really care)

Belly button in or out:  Out.

Wedding rings on or off:     On most of the time.

Happy or moody most of the time:    Happy, but emotional about random things.

Looking forward to:   Working out, wearing normal clothes, getting in and out of the car with ease, sitting cross legged and it not hurting, not being hot ALL the time, wrestling with Kipton, bumping a volleyball and not getting tired....I'll stop complaining now.  But most importantly holding you in my arms!!
