8 Weeks Old!

So this will be my last weekly post, and from now on we'll only be taking monthly pictures.  :(  

Your growing so fast and getting so big, but we're enjoying every minute of it!

HAPPY BOY!

This past week you've done some big things!

-Your starting to throw your hands in the air and move them around a lot more.

-You talked back to momma for the first time while playing (in a good way, not with an attitude).  :)

-You starting to sleep anywhere from 5-6 hours straight each night, wahoo!

-You had your first Thanksgiving holiday and you were the cutest little turkey!

-You do not like your swing anymore at all, but you love your jungle bouncy seat.

-You rolled over for daddy the first time.

-You slept on your tummy the first time while taking a nap in your crib and have started to take most of your naps in your crib.

-We went to visit Mollie Louise Alexander....who some say is your future wife.  :)

-You sat up like a big boy in your bumbo seat for the first time.

-You experienced your first Iron Bowl, and although we didn't like the outcome it was fun none-the-less. 

-Your already fitting into 3 month old outfits.  You can still fit into some newborn outfits, but your too long for most of them.

Your growing so fast, but that just means your a healthy little boy! 

6 Weeks and 7 Weeks

Your now 7 weeks old and here's what you've done the past couple of weeks:

-You are really smiling and flirting a lot now.

-You took your first trip to huddles and meet the teenagers, who adore you.

-You went to cheerleading practice for the first time.

-You have outgrown a lot of your newborn outfits and can fit into most 3 month outfits.

-You don't really like your swing anymore...usually get mad when we put you in it.

-You LOVE your jungle bouncy chair and playing with the elephant and zebra.

-You hair is starting to turn a sandy blonde color.

-You like to fold your hands together when we hold you.

-You have really started to suck your fingers, especially your thumb....probably gonna be like your momma.

-You don't really like to lay on your tummy anymore, and will only tolerate tummy time for only a few minutes.

6 WEEKS OLD

Newborn shirt from cousin Sam....that you've outgrown.  It was a little too tight.

7 WEEKS OLD

4 Weeks and 5 Weeks Old

A whole month old!!  You growing so fast and trying all new things.

Here's what's been going on these past few weeks:

-You had your first road trip to Birmingham to the state Volleyball tournament

-You went to church for the first time on October 30th

-You had your first holiday, Halloween!  You were a pumpkin...the cutest one in the patch!

-You smiled back at me for the first time, on purpose....no gas  :)   So sweet!

-You rolled over for the first time on November 1st, your four week old birthday!  You were playing on your activity mat on your tummy and rolled from your front to back.  So exciting!

-You took a trip to Birmingham again with aunt Haley to a Christmas craft show.

-You also got sick for the first time at 5 weeks.  :(  You are congested and got the sniffles.  We have to use mean ole Mr. Blue Booger picker a lot.
