The Reynolds Rap: July 2012

9 MONTHS OLD!

Big thing that happened this month, you are crawling!!

We also went to the doctor and here are your measurements:

29 1/4 Inches Tall & 19.5 lbs

Here's what else has happened this month:

35 weeks

You have started mumbling phrases ... none of which we can understand. :) But you love to talk!

Tried asparagus this week, you liked it, but it's not your favorite.

36 weeks

Tried cauliflower, and you loved it! I hope you keep eating this good as you get older!

37 weeks

You have started blowing raspberries back at us when we blow them at you.

You like to pick things up with your feet and pull them to your hands. Clever fellow :)

You have started being mean to your toys. You will grab something and stare very intently saying "arrrggghh".

38 weeks

We went to the beach with my family this week and this made it your third trip to the beach. You loved digging your hands in the sand and playing in the ocean. You had so much fun!

You had a new favorite sound this week, ssshhh. Very slobbery sounding. :)

You now follow your eyes to where we point at.

Ate yogurt for the first time and love love love yogurt.

One of your favorite things to do is turn the pages on books. You especially love books that you can pull the flap down.

You tried watermelon, and let's just say you were not a fan.

Not a fan of pineapple either.

As of this week we cant leave you on the sofa or bed alone anymore because you'll wiggle right off.

Not crawling just yet, but began to rock back and forth on hands and knees.

39 weeks

You signed back to me for the first time! You signed "all done" to tell me you were full. Such a smart little boy. :)

You crawled forward this week! It was army style, but crawling none the less. You were crawling to get to a CD player cord, and you got it!

You turned yourself around on your butt.

Tried cantaloupe and really like it.

We tried carrots again, and once again it was a no.

One of your favorite toys is the Jonah book that Aunt Jessie gave you. You LOVE ripping off the velcro pictures.

We went to the Atlanta braves game this week to see Craig pitch and besides the fact that it was a record high temperature we had a great time! You rode you around in your stroller a lot, but you loved watching all the vendors walk around and sell things. You got to sit and "drive" a braves golf cart and got to see a few of the players.

We also went to the aquarium and your favorite part was walking through the shark tank. You tried to touch the fish through the glass, all the while saying "wwwwhhhhooooaaaa".

You can now get up to a sitting position after laying down. Your moving around quite easily now!
