12-15 Months

15 Months Old!

12-15 Month Happenings

So here's what Kipton Reynolds has been up to the past three months:

The biggest thing that has happened is you finally decided to walk!

You walked for the first time on November 28th.  You had been walking with someone holding your hand for the past month and it was just a matter of time before you realized you could take off on your own.  Daddy and Mommy were just sitting in the living room floor playing with you one night and you just stood up, took about 10 steps, and that was all she wrote!  From that night on you were a walker.  Marmie calls you a nomad because all you do now is just wander from room to room carrying things behind you and just discovering new things.

So here's some fun facts about you:
- give great bear hugs
- learned to clap your hand around 13 months
- 4 molars all started coming in at the same time and were completely through at the end of December.
- started eating more solid foods around 14 months (other than puffs and cookies)
- LOVE chicken and will eat it until your tummy is bulging out.
- started laughing when others do; one day in church brother Gary told a joke during a sermon and you started laughing when everyone else did.  It was cute ;)
- got your first haircut by Marmie on December 1st.  You were a little uneasy at first, but then didn't really seem to mind at all.
- favorite foods right now are any pureed fruit, oatmeal, chicken, cheese quesadillas, most breads, sometimes scrambled eggs, nutri-grain bars and crackers.  You'll eat vegetables and fruits pureed, but we're still working on eating them as table food.  :)
- really got the hang of a sippy cup now and don't need any help drinking.
- You're still sleeping well as always!  If we say "night night" you start waving goodbye and sucking your thumb.
- You'll dance a little bit, but mainly just wave both hands up and down if you like the music.
- like watching Dinosaur Train and Sesame Street in the mornings
- got a Kitchen for Christmas and love pouring mommy and daddy coffee and carrying around your forks and spoons everywhere with you.
- You love reading books!  Mommy will catch you sitting in your room sometimes with books scattered all around you.
- got a 4-wheeler for Christmas from Grammy and Pawpaw and it didn't take you but a few seconds to figure out how to push the button and you were gone.  :)
- walk up to Lexi and give her hugs
- help mommy put clothes in the dryer
- not really interested in balls anymore, but love playing with blocks, shapes, books, and cellphones.  At this rate you'll be a really good engineer
- have really started to understand what mommy and daddy are saying; such as: "go get your cup", "where's your tiger?", "where's Lexi?", "let's go take a bath", and of course you always start to run when I say "let's go change your diaper".  :)
-your obsessed with your Tiger....very attached to it.

You are so sweet and such a good baby.  You are a busy body and always love discovering new things.  We love you so much!

Morning hair, climbin pianos, and crawlin in cabinets.  All in a days work.  :)
