36 Weeks

How far along?    36 Weeks

Total weight gain:  41 lbs

Maternity clothes:   I've had to buy some more maternity clothes because it's getting colder.  With Kipton it was still very warm by October 3rd, but with this one it's already starting to get cool.

Stretch marks:   Unfortunately, they have reappeared and possibly a new one over the belly button.  Kinda hard to tell though.

Best Moment this week:  Maybe not a best moment but a couple funny ones.  I have questioned if Kipton understands whether or not a baby is actually growing inside mommy's tummy and if Kaden is actually going to come out and stay with us.  My wondering thoughts were answered after a couple of conversations these past few weeks.  They are as follows:

First Convo
Setting: Kipton and Matt playing with the pop up tent in the living room.
Kipton:  Daddy...is Kaden still in mommy's tummy?
Matt:  Yes Kipton he's still growing.
Kipton:  Well, maybe when he comes out mommy can fit in my tent again.

Second Convo
Setting:  Kipton and Uncle Matthew playing baseball outside and I walk up.
Matthew:  Kipton, who is that?
Kipton:  That's my mommy, but she can't play baseball.
Matthew:  Why not?
Kipton:  Because she's too big

Now even my son is calling me fat...

Miss anything?:   I attempted to shave my legs this week in the bathtub.   Picture a beach whale flopping around a tank trying to scratch its belly.  That should explain my efforts.

Movement:  All the time, but mainly when I sit down to eat and lay down at night.  It's pretty much understood that you will wake me up playing footsie during the middle of the night.  However, since you may have assumed the exit position, I don't have to pee as bad during the middle of the night.

Food cravings:  I just like food.   And so does Kaden.  Your very active whenever I'm eating.

Anything making you queasy or sick:   I get queasy when I sit in certain positions and that's not any fun at all.

Have you started to show yet:    People are starting to give me the "I feel sorry for you" look.

Gender:   All boy.

Labor Signs:    Just lower back pain and constant pelvic pain in my left groin area.  (Sorry for the details of those reading who don't really care)

Belly button in or out:  Out.

Wedding rings on or off:     On most of the time.

Happy or moody most of the time:    Happy, but emotional about random things.

Looking forward to:   Working out, wearing normal clothes, getting in and out of the car with ease, sitting cross legged and it not hurting, not being hot ALL the time, wrestling with Kipton, bumping a volleyball and not getting tired....I'll stop complaining now.  But most importantly holding you in my arms!!
